The Hi-FLY kick off meeting took place in Germany, Ottobrunn on the 23rd and 24th of January 2018 and was hosted by Airbus Space and Defence GmbH. The aim of the meeting was to officially begin the project and introduce each partner to the consortium.
The meeting consisted of each partner introducing their company to the consortium and advising what their role will be within the project.
The work package leaders then described the work that will be undertaken in the Hi-FLY project and what is expected from each partner.
Attendees included representatives from: Airbus D&S GmbH, Airbus D&S SAS, Tesat-Spacecom GmbH & Co. KG, Deutsches Zentrum Luft - Und Raumfahrt e.V., STAR-Dundee, University of Dundee, Integrated Systems Development S.A., Kongsberg Spacetec AS, Erzia Technologies SL, Universitat Autonoma De Barcelona, Ethniko Kai Kapodistriako Panepistimio Athinon and Modus Research and Innovation Limited.
The next consortium meeting will be held in December and hosted in Scotland.
